We automatically generate backups of your hosting account so you can restore your website, databases, or email if something goes wrong. You can also create and restore your own backups anytime.

Step 1: Log in to Your Hosting Control Panel

Step 2: Open the Backup Tool

  • In cPanel:
    1. Scroll down to the Files section.
    2. Click JetBackup.
  • In DirectAdmin:
    1. Go to Advanced Features → Create/Restore Backups.
    2. Choose the type of backup you want to restore.

Step 3: Choose What to Restore

You can restore different parts of your hosting account:

  • Website Files – restore your public_html folder.
  • Databases – restore your MySQL databases.
  • Emails – restore email accounts and messages.
  • Entire Account – restore everything (files, databases, emails).

Step 4: Confirm & Run Restore

  • Select the backup date you want to restore from.
  • Click Restore.
  • Wait for the process to complete (time depends on backup size).

Step 5: Verify Your Site

  • Once finished, visit your website to check everything is working as expected.
  • If issues remain, you may want to try a different backup date.

Troubleshooting

  • Backup not listed? → Older backups may have been automatically removed. Contact support if you need help.
  • Database errors after restore? → Make sure both files and databases were restored together.
  • Need a partial restore? → Use File Manager or phpMyAdmin to upload specific files or databases manually.
